The 4 year old is insane and gets into everything, but I wouldn't trade any of them. We also have 3 dogs (basset hounds), they are great and the kitties love to snuggle with them. They are all wonderful and so good for stress relief and cuddling. Not so good for beading, the kitties want to help way too much :-)Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12846730286299197806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5124653240054365264.post-75662908805346093922014-01-16T14:10:16.708+00:002014-01-16T14:10:16.708+00:00I love hearing about your animals - thank you for ...I love hearing about your animals - thank you for the replies! He's a big lump of white fluff who will hunt anything, including squirrels, hmmm. He's still my boy though.
Cath
aka Ty SiriolCathy Powellhttps://www.facebook.com/TySiriolCeramicsandCraftsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5124653240054365264.post-32816141752446292922014-01-15T22:05:11.733+00:002014-01-15T22:05:11.733+00:00I'll be 46 in a few weeks and I can't reme...I'll be 46 in a few weeks and I can't remember a time there wasn't a pet in my life. I've had mostly dogs, a few cats, gerbils and several ferrets. I can't imagine life without critters! And yes Louise the pain of loss can be heartbreaking but the joy and comfort they bring to our lives is so worth it in my humble opinion. I received a sympathy card from my vet that had the perfect quote in it...

Fragile Circle
We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own,
live within a fragile circle, easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way.
We cherish memory as the only certain immortality,
never fully understanding the necessary plan.

Irving Townsend, "The Once Again Prince,"LostnThoughthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11433533746780434842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5124653240054365264.post-40612553960097736502014-01-15T21:50:44.193+00:002014-01-15T21:50:44.193+00:00Gorgeous cats!

One of our kitty girls lived to almost 22.

My current kitty boy is a lovely tuxedo who showed up as a 3 month old kitten but I couldn't coax him in for almost another 3 months. When I finally got him inside on Christmas eve 2012, he hid under the kitchen sink like the character, Randy, in the movie A Christmas Story so, we named him Randy.Libellula Jewelryâ„¢https://www.blogger.com/profile/00085261168453003357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5124653240054365264.post-29526453838196302172014-01-15T21:44:56.799+00:002014-01-15T21:44:56.799+00:00Oh Louise you have certainly had as many crazy cat...Oh Louise you have certainly had as many crazy cats as myself over the years! We have both a dog & a cat at the moment. To be honest I am a cat lover & have always had one in my life. But I do very much love our pooch, he gets so much attention when we take him out. As he looks like a teddy bear to most kids!! Our cat called Biscuit its a complete nutter! He stalks my son until he feeds him. He has full blown conversations with us. His meow seems to loud for such a tiny animal!!
